about

Symphonia Ena is a solo Project of Argentine musician, composer and record producer Lian Gerbino. Records released under the name “Symphonia Ena” are in the experimental folk style, often acoustic-driven and drawing influences from a wide range of genres such as Southern Cone Music, Tango, Andean Music, Latin Jazz and Ambient Music.

Many Symphonia Ena’s compositions have origins in Lian Gerbino’s earliest work as a musician. Influences from artists such as Gustavo Santaolalla, Mercedes Sosa, Dominic Miller and Astor Piazzolla are key in the development of the compositions.

By 2018, Lian Gerbino noticed an increased amount of music, somewhat connected with each other and belonging to the same compositional universe. These proto-compositions and ideas led to the development of the concept and project consolidation. After an EP and several singles, the first Symphonia Ena album “Migration Pictography” was released in February 10th, 2023.

Dear listener,

These songs come from the most intimate part of me.
I share it with you in an attempt to heal myself.

Am I being selfish somehow?
Am I trying to be complete by letting some of it go?
I know I need to vent.
To make room for what's to come.
To make room for what's already here.

There was a sound before this.
There will be a sound after this.
I know.
And I am at peace with the world.

Let my days fade into the ash of memory.

Yours,
Lian Gerbino
